Staff

The state government set mandatory guidelines concerning staff  qualifications and the ratio of staff to children. These regulations also require that potential staff have a current blue card to ensure their suitability as care providers. These regulations ensure that the children are adequately supervised and that they receive consistent care from adults who are trained Early Childhood Professionals. Staff also attend regular in service training in order to keep abreast of the latest early childhood research and development.

From time to time the centre does host student both on Work Experience and Field Placements. This is essential for their professional development. Students are always supervised by permanent staff .
